Newport Dance Academy offers classes in
classical ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop and musical theatre. These classes are perfect for those who are interested
in studying dance on a recreational or a professional basis. We are committed to providing quality dance education
to our students. Newport Dance Academy provides a positive, nurturing environment in which students are free to study,
learn, grow, and excel. Students perform twice annually in our Holiday Showcase and June Recital.
Home of the award winning Newport Dance Theatre
performing group, we are proud to offer a professional performing experience for dancers in our community. The
performing group offers a well rounded training program for serious students. These students dance ballet, jazz, tap,
and lyrical jazz and range in age from 4-18.
We also proudly provide the Cecchetti Classical
Ballet exam program for dedicated ballet students. Dancers train in the Cecchetti Method and are examined each Spring
by a professional examiner of Cecchetti USA. Newport Dance Academy consistently receives top honors for its ballet
training.
